I’m not here to direct a performance. I’m here to notice the small, sacred things happening around you that you wish you could hold onto forever.
When the right things are prepared ahead of time, you don’t have to worry on the day of. We’ll talk through the details, set expectations, and make space for the good stuff to unfold. You get to be present, not pulled away for a photo-op.

I do weddings differently.
I pay attention to people, not poses. I study body language, voice shifts, the relationships in the room. I’ll know when to offer guidance and when to be still. Your photos won’t be curated replicas (please never!) they’ll reflect the truth of your day as it actually felt. Quiet nerves. Joy you couldn’t hold back. Small gestures that carried more weight than words.

Sometimes I’m already committed on a date but that doesn’t have to be the end of the road.
I offer an associate option for couples who still want a genuine experience. My close friend Hannah, a thoughtful and skilled photographer, will document your day on my behalf. I’ll still handle all communication, help plan your timeline, and carefully edit your final gallery to reflect my signature style.

I grew up on a cattle farm in Williamstown, MA, surrounded by beauty that didn’t try to be beautiful. I learned early that life is fragile, and also—somehow—staggeringly strong. That contrast is what draws me to weddings. The somber reverence and the uncontainable joy.
I don’t believe in performances. I believe in presence. I’m not here to style your memories, I’m here to witness them. I’ll bring structure where it’s helpful and quiet where it’s needed.

Although film photography inspires my aesthetic, I specialize in digital photography at this time and do not offer film.
Do you shoot film?
Yes! There is an integrated print shop within all galleries. You can design your own wedding albums, pick out your own family prints, etc. All items are printed by professional labs with accurate coloring. They are printed to last, and are sent right to your home.
Can we order prints or albums through you?
For an 8 hour wedding day, you can expect a final gallery of around 700 images. For my sessions, about 60 final images.
How many images are in our final gallery?
While I don't include a second shooter in my listed wedding price, a second shooter can be added for an additional cost. Some wedding days really do require a second shooter, especially if the bride and groom are getting ready in separate locations, or if it's a very large wedding at an expansive venue!
There is a a minimum of 4 hours for second shooter to be added.
